tony how is the planing for the trip going. I'm looking forward to being there. planning on driving up highway one from San Simeon. depending on the road condition. mike

tony for me just any date is cool I'm retired. just let me have a few days warning. i keep most of my camping equipment in my truck. so I'm always good to go mike

Well I guess whatever is good for the majority.... my only thing is .. I sure don't wanna melt... See I have this thing against daylight.. and heat.. lol.. maybe this isn't the best trip for me huh.. lol .. oh well.. I'll still give it a go for whenever you set it for..

Oh Roxy, it's not hot like AZ, along the coast on those dates! I'n not sure it ever gets HOT along the coast!  It might be hot getting there...otherwise it'll be just NICE or even foggy and a bit cool. The only week that would really work for me would be the first week in June. The last week in August I'm just starting a new school year, so it's crazy, same for the 1st week in Sept. That's my wish, anyway, as far as dates! dee |

If the trip is in early June, I'll come down for the day. May bring one or both of the kids with me.

This is happening! Nephrite has even mentioned that he'd spear fish for fresh fish tacos!! That, and jade and the beautiful California coast! Anyone else? Roxy, are you coming with your dad?

Hey you.... guess what? ... yeah.. I didn't make it either..sure tried to get there but shyt just wasn't happening fast enough over here....... and now seeing the pics .. I'm bummed .. Cuz we sure wanted to go too... and looking at your pics.... looks like it would of been a hella cool trip~! And Taboot LOBSTER? Gawd~Talk about classy camping!!! lol.. Darn wish I was closer Tony its my dream to some day dive for some jade. I have stood on that hill and looked down and wished I could find some out in the ocean. I did find one small chip on the rocky beach. One of these days I will make it out there again. I will try to hook up with you when I do. If I had not hurt my hand in Feb. I would have came this year. I have not worked all summer so it was hard to justify a trip out there. Great pics the lobsters look tasty.

What a bummer! I have been reading this thread on and off but not too much since I knew we couldn't go. However, I'd love to come out sometime. How long does the season run when it is feasible?
LOL -- those lobsters are quite an incentive as well!

Waaahhhh! I let work overwhelm me...(it was something like the week before school ended and I hadn't done report cards yet....but lobster??!!) Perfect weather, Pacific Jade and everything! I really missed out, and I know it... I only hope Tony can forgive us enough to offer his time and expertise and company again.

hey tony you allways find the coolest jade man --- if all works out and i get my bike wrapped up im gonna try and save up for a tripout there i want to see the pacific ocean befor i kick and i been missin the sound and the smell of the ocean hell i was in or at it all my life haha -- this has been the longest ive been away from it and i miss my crabs every weekend haha they got crabs on the pacific side like the blue claws i usta catch everyweekend
