I just stumbled across some information on a knap-in: See below! Mammoth Spring State Park in Mammoth Spring will host the 6th Annual Knap-In on June 22 - 23. Watch as flint knappers demonstrate the primitive art of making and using stone tools and arrowheads. For more details, contact Mammoth Spring State Park at (870) 625-7364 or visit www.ArkansasStateParks.com. Are there any good rock hunting sites in this area? Thanks John

John I've been to Mammoth Springs. I could have sworn it was across the border in MO. Anyway, it's a cool place. Sorry, I don't know if there are rocks there or not. I was on an antique venture and didn't have time to look.
