Howdy..................The Northwest Federation Gem and Mineral show is this weekend if you happen to be in Butte, Montana. It runs the 3rd, 4th and 5th from 9 to 5. Im heading over in the morning with big eyes and an all but empty wallet. Probably never make another one so I just have to go...... ;D Bob

Wow what a great show!!! Unfortunatly my camera was stolen from the car a few days ago and I have to borrow one. I met the folks from Alpha Lapidary. Very nice folks. I was looking mostly for picture jasper and assumed that since most of the dealers were from Oregon and Idaho there would be a bunch. With the exception of one dealer this was not the case. Betty Warrington of Betty's Rock-N Bead, Kamiah, Idaho had some great Jasper from her own mine over in the Owyhee. Thought about knocking over one of the opal dealers but somehow managed to restrain myself. Will post pictures soon as I borrow a camera..........Bob
