Hi Ya'll. Anyone close (or crazy enough to travel) there is a gem & mineral show this weekend in Austin at the Palmer Events Center. Nov 30th, Dec 1st and 2nd. Be sure to stop at booth G-1 and say howdy.

The show was great! I got to meet John and we did a little business. Was a real pleasure. One of the vendors there was a local Austin shop and they had sevral 5 gal buckets of rough. 2 buckets had some special stuff!! OJ for 12.50/lb and Pietersite for 26.50/lb. I picked up a nice 1.5lb chunk of blue S. African Pietersite.... Sweet!! Apparently they have a source and now I do too. I'll definitely be visiting Austin more often.

Ed, I broke it in yesterday, made 6 cabs... ;D It's very addicting and I'm having a blast. My wife wants me to learn Silversmithing now. hehehe... I was going to post some pics yesterday but I didn't get off the machine 'till late. I'll try to get some up this evening.
