I just wanted to know how much Polish you all us. My instrutions for the Lortone 3A states to use 6 TBS of polish for the 3 pound tumbler. Well my Research tells me to use les then that. How much polish would you all use in a 3 pound tumbler.
Thanks

4 to 5 tbs. However, I'm not really sure you need that much. I've heard a number of different amounts to use. I'm also curious as to how much tin oxide should be used compared to cerium oxide. Anyone?

Wow six tbls in a 3# tumbler that sounds like a lot of overkill. I start off with 1-1/2 tbsp of cernium oxide; then I recharge after 4 days with another tbsp. I have been successful doing it that way. Happy tumbling!

Yes I will reuse the polish. Can you reuse it forever? Or how long can you reuse it for?
Thanks

You can use it as long as you want if it's kept clean. If at any point it becomes contaminated from a previous grit, it will become useless.

I was wondering how different types of rocks within 2 hardness would hurt the polish. How much does this affect the final pollish?

The harder rocks chip and scratch the surface of the softer rocks.
