Ouch. My teeth hurt. I just need another year to get a shop set up again.

Just a bump...
less than 10 hours to go and still available for $500. A new one would be over $2,600 not counting shipping.
No one here from the Olympia Washington area? I'd be burning rubber to go grab this for $500 ;D

I revisited the whole 'dammit I want this thing' issue. I could (barely) afford this this month, but I have nowhere to put it. Unless the local club would let me house it in their shop. Or, I could just stick it in my storage shed. I have always planed to get one fo these and hate to miss a good deal.
I need to just take a deep breath and tell myself that there will be other good deals 6 or 9 months down the road when I am actually ready.

Wow, that is a good deal. Too bad it's on the left coast, otherwise I'd be on my way.

It sure went cheap, I almost bought it just because. But that would have entailed a road trip, too.

Tony, I thought you loved the road trips!!! Wouldn't it be a good excuse to go exploring???

Oh how I do love a good road trip, but with the price of fuel, I had to restrain my self. I would rather go exploring after the snow melts, of course I guess I could have went sledding. The only problem is I have some of the best sledding around right in my back yard. No reason to drive 14 hrs to go sledding. If I was gonna do that I would head your way!

Well,
$561 is a great price. A lcal guy wants $630 for a 12" and another guy wants $600 for a 16"
Still, I made the right call sitting on my hands. I do plan to buy a 10", and one nearby club has a 14" for member use, and the next closest club has both a 14" and a 20". There is no reason for me to get an 18" right now.
I am going to use club equipment, maybe get a rotary tumbler, an dconcentrate on field trips.
