Randy, where do you get the settings for these awesome cabs your making? Are they plated or what? I sure would like to get a few to play with. Your cabs are awesome, oh yeah, I said that. LOL

They came from Firemountaingems, you can get a pack of ten for a few bucks, they're great for practice. They're plated. Cinch mounts are really pricey, so I'm gonna keep on using these until I get the hang of it. It's really easy to grind the cabs too small, and even if they start out the right size, they can still be too small by the time they get to the polish wheel. www.firemountaingems.com/shopping.asp?skw=KWMTCABQUICKMOUNT

I like them both...the first one is excellent!!!
How can you cab in this cold weather? My fingers can't take the cold, and the pre forms come off the dop sticks.

Wow, GORGEOUS cabs! Not everyone can get a beautiful cab outta a slab - you've got 'the eye'! Not static, both cabs keep the eye interested and moving. Excellent job!

Thanks y'all!! Not sure if you realized or not, but we're not even wearing coats here when the sun is up. I've been outside until 5 minutes ago with a long sleeve shirt, but that's beside the point.... I've been cabbing on the dining room table. ;D

The unknown might be your favorite, Randy, but the Sheep Creek is one gorgeous cab.

Both are gorgeous. I think you need to go for it and get the cinch mounts - the simpler the better. No sense hiding your beautiful work!

Very nice Randy! The first one looks very similar to some jasper we have here in Texas.
