Glad you had some time to go out hounding with the kids Brian. Nice scenery. While I scrolled down through the pics, I was thinking how nice those pieces are, but when I got to the last pic and saw the orange/yellow plumes, I couldn't believe it. Nice find!

Great plumes Brian! And I always enjoy tube agates. One of my favorite rocks. Only in AZ would someone have to put lawn chairs under a catus for shade. Curt

Wow Brian. That plume is a new type for me. The red/orange piece is fantastic and darned if the others don't look a lot like good Woodward stuff! Just goes to show ya, lots of neat stuff still to find out there in the desert. Great finds! Oh, and that hunk of loose filament moss ain't bad either! Whew, good'un!.....mel

Oh man Brian! Why don't you just "rub" it in a little. Just Kidding my man! Looks like you guys all had a terrific time; and found some awesome rocks! I really love your Moss Agate and the Banded Agates are cool. I guess I just need to move to non-snow places. It really stinks here in Utah right now. Can I "whine" a little.....waaaaaaah!!!! You alwasy do find some neat stuff Brian. Thanks for sharing, and what a great way to close the year. Steve

Man what a great outing! Beautiful place and amazing rocks. Those mossy ones are incredible and I like the banded agates also. Those ones with the crystals are nice too. What a great haul. I hope 2008 is full of more successful and fun rock outings for you guys. Seeing those photos makes me want to jump in the car and get my butt back to Arizona. Steve

The Beef Master doing what he does best...making us all jealous . Mate, those are some outstanding finds. I'm loving that chunk of tube agate and that crusty crystally one just before it. Those moss and plume pieces would have made me fall to my knees and weep with joy! Great to see you out with your family. Mike BTW, I just got home last night from being away visiting family over Christmas...thanks for the card. I was blown away to get it. Mike

Wow! You are SO lucky, what fun for the family! I love those tube agates, simply because I've never seen anything like 'em before. And the moss! And the plume! And the ..... everything else. Do you find them just lying around like that, or do you have to dig?

Hey thanks everyone, we sure had a blast out there. My kids went back to their mum's yesterday with a whole bunch of great new rocks. After two weeks of wii, guitar hero and mtv it sure is quiet around here
