I finished up a few new ones last night, so here they are. Tried out some new material. Blue aventurine Crappy photo of some really nice Siberian Jade. Graveyard Plume Lapis Malachite I found this Carey Mt Plume in the pile of slabs Snowdog brought to Burrow Creek. One for the collection. backlit This one is a doublet using Lapis as a backing for a really thin slab of Boulder Opal. The blue color you see in the middle of the stone is not the lapis showing through, it's the flash of opal. Thanks for looking.

I love the pattern on that malachite!
As usual, they're all gorgeous. Favorites would be the graveyard, the malachite, and the blue aventurine...

I like the aventurine's shape very much. What an original doublet, the opal+lapis! And the malachite tear, what a beatutifull pattern on it. And ... as usual, I might outline all of them because everyone is special!

Wooo+hoooo= YEE-HAA! Love em' Ed. Especially the doublet and I can't get over how dark green that siberian jade is. Very nice. Glad you had some fun in the midst of a crazy storm. Steve

That first one is a shape I haven't seen before. I like it as well as the rock. That Carey Mt. Plume is sweet too.

Those are great. I like the doublet; is that something new you are experimenting with?

Most excellent!
I have a few slabs of some nice bullseye malachite and having trouble with it. It wants to break at different sections where the layers are.
Maybe just a poor piece...
My favorite is your Carey Mt Plume. I have been thinking of really starting to get a lot more of some different Plumes. The three dimensional look is beautiful !

Thanks everyone. I thought the opal would go really nice with the deep blue lapis backround, and after seeing it finished, I think I'll try some others as well. Might try it with white opal too. I wish I could get a good photo of the jade though, it looks much better in person.
