Looks great! I love the look of tumbled glass. I have a few pieces myself that I'm looking forward to giving a try.

Nice and colorful! The black +redish brown one in the bottom of the 1st pic looks like mahogany obsidian.

OMG it's beautiful. I've always wanted to do glass like that, such gorgeous colors.

Hey Takila - I think the trick right now is to keep it wet. Can't wait to see these gems when they finish!

Mine look that good, wet! Takila don't know what she's talking about. She didn't read the part where Randy said the pic. taken wet. I rolled mine for a month in 46/70, 2 weeks in 220, 2 weeks in 500 a week and a half in 1000 then 2 weeks in A.O. polish. Outta lets say 40 rocks I got maybe 3 to shine nice, the rest just a matte finish. maybe I'll getmine out, squirt them down with water then take pictures of them, just for Takila...

Has anyone tried Cerium Oxide with the glass, instead of AO? The Rock Shed recommends CO for glass. I have some glass I tumbled in stage 1, but then set it aside for a different batch. When I start the glass again, I want the best recipe!

I have some CO, I've never tried it before. I'll polish the glass in it when I get to that stage and I'll let y'all know what happens.

That glass looks like it tumbles up just as well as the quartz does. Some of those pieces don't even look like glass. Tami

That Glass is really cool stufff! I can'rrt believe how some of it looks so much like candy..taffy or something. I don't have any plans to tumble any...not yet anyways. After recieveing some really nice pieces from Kate...I am having second thoughts. What some colorfully patterned stuff. Steve

Hey, that nice. The place in Tucson where I get some of my rough sells glass, but I've never bought any, or thought about tumbling it. I will now.
