I am about to try my hand at cabbing. Where do I get "DOP?" Is there an instructional video or images somewhere that I could watch or see? How sturdy is the stone on the dop stick?
Thanks for any advice.

Good tutorial! Only thing I would add is I prefer to have the dop wax cover more of the surface of the stone. More surface contacted with the wax, better the hold. Also, clean means free of oil etc too as that will make the bond insecure. Also, if you reuse wax, be aware that it holds a little less securely each time you reuse it....Mel
