My daughter in Odessa had emergency Gall Bladder surgery on Monday. Everything went fine and she went home Monday evening. She was admitted back into the hospital early this morning with internal bleeding and a blood clot. They are giving her a blood transfusion as I write this. She is really in bad shape. I am flying to Odessa in the morning. I need all of your prayers for her. She is only 19 years old and is scared to death. Also, there is an angel amoung us. Mary Ann (stonesthatrock) is helping with the plane ticket to get me there! God Bless you Mary Ann!!!! Thank you, Sheri

I am taking my computer but will stay in her hospital room the whole time I am there. I may not be able to get a connection. I am going to call Mary Ann every day so she can let ya'll know how Kassie is doing. She is still receiving the blood transfusion, they think the bleeding is coming from her Liver. So many questions and no answers! Ralph takes me to the airport early am and I arrive in Odessa at 3pm. Keep the prayers coming..........we have know idea what the heck happened! Gall Bladder surgery is such an easy surgery!

I'm praying for Kassie to mend fast, you, your family for strength and comfort for all, and her doctors to learn what is wrong and to fix it, fast. Many healing energies, thoughts and prayers are being sent your way for sure from this extended family. Mary

Talked to the Dr today. The internal bleeding has stopped after the blood transfusion. She is in much more pain today as the blood is clotting under her skin. They are going to do surgery tomorrow to remove all the clots. That should relieve most of her pain. Hopefully she can heal normally and get back to normal. Kas wanted me to tell all of you, thank you for your prayers. I hope to fly back home on Tuesday or Wednesday but will stay with her until she can manage on her own. Thank you everyone!

I'm relieved to hear that the doctors have come to a positive resolution. Its often the unknown that is so terribly difficult to deal with. Fortunately our bodies are designed to deal with a lot of adversity. Take care, my thoughts are with you and your daughter. Bob
