went to a friends house saw this rock had to mess him up a bit till he gave it to me. but him and me would like a idea of what it is any guesses mike

no but heres some more info it has small crystals that give it a sparkling effect. i broke off a small piece and there was a spot of green. and the first photo is closer to the color. mike

I have no idea on your rock, but I wanted to say that I love your new avatar...those are the dust motes from Miyazaki's Spirited Away, are they not? Great movie.

I was thinking the same as Stoner - looks like lepidolite mica (especially the second pic). But I'm no expert............

I don't think it's lepidolite, it's not gumdroppy enough - looks like the purple rhodonite I have seen
