I have a new boss at work who happens to like rocks, but never thought too much about them. Seems he grew up with them all his life. His parents own a ranch that is just covered with petrified wood. They dug out a huge tree that was several feet long, and there are a lot more. He'll be going to visit his folks and he promised to bring me some wood. He said if I'd like, when his dad comes to town he'll load up a huge stump and bring it to my house. He showed me a piece today and it was nice. I'm looking forward to this. I'll post pics in the near future.
