Been at the grinder again, here's the new ones. Burro Creek agate from a slab from Dee Unknown agate Rainbow obsidian, I just can't seem to get a good pic of this stuff without the glare from the lights. Royal Velvet Obsidian, a couple of shots. Sugelite Cool little Laguna agate Red Horn Coral Cady Mt Plume from a slab I got from Mel Cady Mt agate from my stash Pietersite, a couple of shots And finally, a WWR Plume. I tried some different backrounds on this one so let me know which one looks best. Well, I think that's it for now, thanks for looking.

Wow! I've got to get some time for cabbing! Ed those are fantastic. Love the Woodward plume against the blue background. Got to remember that next time I photograph some. You did up that Cadys Plume proud too but I think that horn coral is my over all favorite. That one is nice!.....Mel

Astonishing cabs! And you also know how to place them in such order that I'm tempted to say "that's my favorite" each time I scroll down to another one. I think a light background as you have in the last two pics work best for that cab.

Outstanding work! They're all gorgeous, but that Pietersite one is just amazing. I love the colour, pattern...it all works! I like the plume photos where it's on end the best.

I was all set to say wow awesome petersite; but then the pics of the WWR. That is some awesome agate; that'll make a person stopper (as in; excuse me what is that necklace you are wearing...) I think the almost white background shows the cab off the best; really shows how the plumes are floating in the clear agate.

Excellent cabs Ed. Love the pietersite and that WWR is a mind blower. I prefer the greyer background, the cab picks up too much of the blue color.

great stuff, Ed, really nice material. i think i prefer the second to the last photo with the slightly blue background on the WWR plume, makes it really pop out.

I think using *both* of the final two pictures is the best, since they show that the cab can complement any color it is against. If it is truly a little milky in color, the last photo is the most accurate. They are all fabulous, love the royal velvet and pietersite, too. Amy Oh, my 6-yr-old daughter came in and said the first one looks like God's fingernail!

Thanks everyone. I think I like the blue backround the best, either laying down or held in the calipers. I learned both of these tips from Bearcreek. He not only had the best cabs, he also knew how to take excellent photos of his work.

Man, they are all so good. I really like the shapes on everyone of them. The sugelite, Cady Mtn. and the rainbow would be favorites. Tony

Of course, they all are to die for, but the Woodward even more so. I may not be going to the Blitz this year,, but I only live a hop, skip, and a jump from there, so I just might head out there before the Blitzers do.
