nope no dealings ;D...i use toolhaus...all the time.
ebay is restricting people if there feedback falls below a certain level...this guy was severely restricted by ebay....they count neutrals also as negatives.
now here is the sad part.....ebay is telling the BAD sellers...if you can have your bad stuff mutually withdrawn....we will let you back in...cause when the bad feedback is removed....we nor you... no longer have a problem.....hoping people dont dig deeper into feedback.
there was another member here that has been restricted....they havent got the bad stuff mutually removed...or chose not to try...so they remain totally restricted from selling much.
ebay has received so much bad press lately...for being a scam site....that they figured restricting folks with bad feedback was a way to make a statement.
but what most folks dont know...is they are pushing mutual withdrawal to get feedback up....and invite the bad sellers back in with open arms....if they manage to get there bad stuff withdrawn....kev.

That guy sounds like an a**. I decided to take Bobby1's advice and quit buying on ebay, becuase I am always disappointed. I have had much luck on here with members that sell things, catmandewe and his Idaho Rock Shop, Stones That Rock, or just post what you are looking for, chances are someone has it and will sell or trade. I am always mislead by the sizes, what the heck I don't know gram weights, and everything always looks better than what you actually receive. I am sticking with people I know.

Wow, this is an old thread! lol... Ebay isn't all that bad, you just gotta know who to buy from. I have a list of Favorites. I get alot of great stuff from ebay, but I always look at the feedback rating first. The clown in this thread would never get my business, I work too hard for my cash.

Ebay has it's good and bad sellers, and it's usually pretty easy to spot the difference. But, in my experience on RTH, you're a lot safer here, and you'll almost always get a better deal.

I'm dealing with two sellers on ebay right now that appear to be jerking me around big time. Both have good feedback history so I'm giving them a chance, but both owe me material and both are NOT answering my requests for updates. I had purchased from one of them before and got good material at a reasonable price. Based on their feedback I'm struggling to understand why they are treating me so bad. I'm starting to get just a bit agitated.

Are your items not being delivered or are they not communicating with you. The reason I say that is this time a year I get about 30 emails a day asking all kinds of crazy things. You also have to remember that delivery may take a little longer than normal due to the holidays. Just remember that you have 45 days to file with paypal and I have never seen a buyer loose a dispute So don't worry so much and most likely things will be ok.

Its both 1rockhound - no material and no communication.
I don't use paypal because I was once screwed by them. These were paid for by check drawn on my business account.

Did you know ebay no longer allows sellers to accept any form of payment except paypal or credit card.

You can request the seller's information from ebay if you are in a transaction with them and you can get a phone number to call them. Search "request member information". You have to put in the item number and the seller's ID and ebay sends you an email almost immediately. Hope this helps.

You might want to see if the checks have been cashed . It's possible that he never recieved them . I sell a good bit on ebay , on a good month , 300 items . That's ten a day , every day . On paypal payments , I might pack an order the minute it comes in , if I am caught up and on the computer . But it is often a day or two or even 5 .
now checks , whoo boy ! Those may sit on my table a week or two ( or every now and then 3 ) . I hate them becuase I have to manually enter everything , which is a pain when everything on the check is right . But often as not , there is no clue what the check is for . No item number , username , or even a mention of ebay . So I leave them on the table a good while and let them vegetate. Now I sell great stuff and pride myself on doing a great job . Except for checks . I figure someone in a hurry sends paypal . All others , not so much. I also spend a lot of time rock digging and going to shows . This keeps me away from the house sometimes from 3 days to a week . I just scramble to catch up when I get back . so the seller might be a way for a week to take care of something ( or had a baby like I did a few months ago ) . My point is that the person is probably not intending to rip you off . I hope this adds a different perspective on things . Best of Luck !

i wouldnt so much worry about it yet as rodney said....checks have to clear and stuff.
you can still use checks and money orders on ebay....as long as you ask the seller if they accept them....the seller cannot say in an auction that they accept them....ebay doesnt want this known....the more paypal....the more they make.....but as a buyer a credit card is a ton safer.
but as a seller....ebay says if 13 percent of your sales end up not being paid by paypal or merchant account....ya probably gonna get suspended....so ....sellers be sure you file your NPB....they show as sales.....unless you file.....kev.
