Hi Rockers! I bought a Tile Nibbler at Lowes today and tried it out on 5 small slabs that i had marked pendants on them i trimmed the excess of up to 1/8 inch all the way around them in about 3 minutes. It would have taken me about 45 minutes to saw them on my saw.now i can use my grinder to remove the 1/8,It is so much easier for me this way. It`s the best 20 bucks i`ve spent since i started this hobby. As they say i`m a happy camper.Somebody else mentioned thid in another thread but i don`t remember who. Try it you`ll like it..............Rocky

OOOh, I like this idea! Sometimes I change my mind about the shape of the cab, and just have a corner to nip off, and have to add it to my pile for the next time I pull out the WorkForce ... this is a great tip! Thanks Rocky!

I just got some, too, based on that other thread. I can't remember who recommended them, either. "Tile nippers" are great, although I wish my hands were stronger/larger and my nibbles were more even - I tend to cut more off of the "bottom" than the top. It will just take practice, I think. I was surprised that the nipper jaws don't ever completely close. I thought they would be like wire snips, but they work differently.
