I've been at it again, finishing up the rest of Susan's cabs and doing a couple for Jamie. These 3 are for Susan Graveyard Plume 2 Fire Agates. Not my best, but there wasn't much to work with. A couple of Pipeline Agates for Jamie. Unknown Red Agate Unknown Tony gave me a piece of his BO and it was too nice to just do a regular cab, so I made this one like a torpedo. front back Next 3 are Seraphinite. The first one is pendant sized and the next 2 are ring sized. Royal Velvet Obsidian And the other half of that sweet WWR Agate That's it, but I'll be back!

All are awesome as always Ed. Same question as KD, how did you get that kind of shine on that type of matrix? You sure did that piece justice!

WOW... a bunch of heirloom cabs there; gonna be some real happy rthers when the mail carrier comes. The first fire agate is realy cool and the seraphinite and the 2nd pipline and the WWR; did I meantion the royal velvet. I like the shape on the BO; looks like you could drill it as a pendant.

Really impressive shine and shapes on all of those. That BO, especially, is killer.

And that is the reason why I love Seraphinite. It's just gorgeous!
The Royal Obisidian is probably my second favorite, though.

Thanks everyone. Yea, and that's why I like that Seraphenite too, it's just plain gorgeous and considering how soft it is, it takes a great shine. As for the shine on the boulder opal, clear lacquer! No just kidding! When I'm working with material that is difficult to shine, I spend a little extra time on the 8k belt, then hit it with the 14k diamond paste before going on to the 50k. And on this piece, I went on to 100k to give it a little extra help. Thanks for that piece Tony, I still have the other half to play with.

Alright Ed! ;D I just love all the shapes you come up with and the types of material are so specactular! I love those Fire Agates...especially the 2nd one with the exposed bandings. I must say...that WWR Plume is simply amazing! That is so cool. Thanks for sharing your work. Steve

Business as usual Ed. The shine, shapes, rocks are all top knotch. I love the Seraphinite, one of the prettiest green stones I've ever seen. That last one though, the way you framed that plume, just incredible.
