Second one is Chinese Writing Stone. That's a really good example of it, too. I've seen a lot that make you wonder why it's called that, but that actually looks like the Chinese characters!

The first one looks like Mexican Crazy Lace. Second one definitely Chinese writing stone. Bob

i know the first one looks like crazy lace but it isn't. I get it confused myself. The writing stone, i thought had a different name, like star something.

Starburst jasper looks sorts like that but it's a different color.

You sure the first one isn't Rosetta (picture stone)? I've got a bunch of that stuff and it sure looks like it...
BTW, some call it (Rosetta) Rodeo Agate now. Seems someone, an American I believe, bought the site in Durango, Mexico where this is from and decided that since he owns the site that he could rename it.
