Hi, everyone! A few weeks ago I've made a cab for Ioana and these days I took the cab from the jeweler. Al was OK, excepting that the jeweler had set the cab with the back (flat part) in the front. It's truth that the dome is very low and that I've polished the back the same as the face, but still it's weird the jeweler didn't realize how should it be set. He offered to remake it on his expenses (which of course is a plus for him) but I told him to give it to me like that, having in mind that I might do another cab to fit in the silver frame. Those days Ioana (for whom the pendant was made) chose another rock, a pet wood slab from Daniel - deb. Today i made the cab, grinding it really slow in order to fit into the frame. I managed to do it. The new cab, the old cab and the frame: The pendant: The pendant and the owner: A close-up: Thanks for looking, Adrian

Both cabs are beautiful, and so is your daughter. It must have been tricky (difficult) to shape the new cab to fit the frame. Great work!

Thanks everyone!
Kim, when you refer to a necklace what do you mean? About the sword, I assume it's for guarding her. LOL, I'm planning to make a knife with pet wood handle. Not intended for this purpose actually.

Adrian I like the pet wood better. Another beautiful piece. I don't know if Kim was talking about a sword to fight off the boys but I think you're going to need one. ;D

Wow. I wish I had a better memory of the slabs I sent. I think I had a photo but it wasin my old deb193 RTH and PhotoBucket accounts. All gone now.
I kinda remember that slab. But not really.

Sword??? Mate, you'd better invest in a shot gun!
Great work on both of the cabs. It's great seeing people'swork move from being just a cab to a wearable piece.

Adrian! You have the perfect set up for "Adrian's Shopping Channel" on cable. Beautiful model.. beautiful work. Ioana shows off your work so well and none of the models on the gem shopping channels are prettier. You just need to do your own silver work and learn to facet, also Tony
