Today was pretty busy around here. I had to take my daughter to the store to get her a strapless bra for her dress, for their Winter formal dance. That was fun, me and my daughter in the bra section of Walmart... Why is it that the really big bras like 42dd are allot cheaper than small bras like 34b? I would think since there is alot more fabric and time in making them they would be alot more. Then I had to go grocery shopping. I will never go grocery shopping on a Saturday again. The place was a madhouse! Come home and my daughter had a friend come over to get ready for the dance and to spend the night, Marni's daughter has to get ready for the dance as well. I have to cook dinner for everyone, straighten up the kitchen after dinner is done, drive my kid and her friend to the dance. I only have a few hours and have to go pick them up again. Tonight I cooked breast chicken with mushroom sauce over noodles. Tomorrow morning I have to get up and cook biscuits and sausage gravy for everyone. I'm doing the biscuits with something called jiffy mix. Does all this mean I'm becoming domesticated? Anyway here is Takila on her new bed for a few more days. haha i thought i was the only one that used frozen veggies for ice packs -- hey takila take it slow sounds like he's got it all together haha -- dont forget when your sick you get to askfor and eat all your fav foods so dont be shy make him a list hahaha
PS two lovely young ladys dont forget to load your gun and hang it on the wall so the new boyfriends get a good look at it i made sure i left my jacket open when i was around chic's friends so they knew i carried it haha

Yeah, I can see it now, Soccer mom Edog. Wow, the pictures in my head.
She looks hanging tough though. She might be more comfortable if you open a few windows. I always found it was easier with a few windows open.
The little ladies look a little uneasy. I guess it will take time for them to get used to soccer Dog.
Years from now, they will look back and think it was cool though. For now, they will get used to it.
Pretty soon, PTA.
Mama is hanging tough though. It is going to be a long haul uphill for a while. Hang in there.

What a guy/dad/hubby! Shopping for bras ranks right up there on the Dad of the Year list! Takila looks pretty good; now give it a few days, and we'll need a picture of you...in an apron, with your eyes kinda wild and crazy!

They have to make the smaller bras so that it looks like they've got more than the 34B.... But then again... other places charge an arm and a leg for anything over 38D....
Sounds like you're racking up major brownie points.... Fingers crossed that Takila feels better soon.

dog...i buy and cook every meal....i do all of the shopping...yep a major pain...specially on the weekends. ;D
ya got me on the bra thingy...me never had to do that ;D....and yep.... i have used frozen vegies for an ice pack also.
as soon as you think you are being domesticated....go do some burnouts...or shoot some stuff up...it works.
i usually grab a bunch of guns....go shoot everything up....and say to myself....im better now ;D.

Oh, you were really busy lately! And what diverse tasks, from bra choosing to cooking and dish washing! You da man!
Your daughter is so pretty and elegant! And Takila looks good too, after such a surgery.
They should be happy to have you beside.

you go, Dog! your post sounds like a script for a new sitcom TV show....too funny for words! i'd have loved to be a fly on the wall at WalMart watching you in the lingerie dept. i'm sure this whole experience will make you appreciate all the things Takila does for you and the family.
she's looking good! not happy about you taking her picture, but looking glad to be home. hope she starts reaping the benefit of the surgery soon.
