Hi, everyone! Those days I felt the need to bring some order into my pet wood collection. so, here it is: The international area (Karenfh, Mike, Texaswoodie, Beefjello and JeffD should recognize some pieces in this pic ) Some local woods - polished above and rough below - as you see even on the floor: Some more rough: And some of my local favorites: Thanks for looking. Also if somebody wants to post his own pet wood (or whatever rocks) collection here, you're welcome to do it Adrian

That's an awesome display, Adrian! I really like the ones that look like branches/logs still. What's the one in the 3rd picture on the bottom shelf near the middle? It's dark grey/light grey with modern art patterns in it...

Thanks everyone. Titania, the one you ask about is a stromatolite, cut in poligonaly shape. It's not done by me, it's a gift from someone who visited Australia and brought me some rock presents: that stromatolite and the small blueish-grey slab in the right side of the large pink one in the first pic.

WOW!!! That is an amazing collection. I love the variety of colours and shapes and patterns you have in your petrified wood pieces.
I was just talking to my wife, Vicki, last night about how I could display the pieces you just sent back to me. You have given me some great ideas.
Folks, I can say, based on experience, Adrian is a master of cutting and polishing petrified wood. The pieces that I sent him to have cut and polished returned to me yesterday and the polished surfaces are like glass. He also shapes them and polished some of teh cureved surfaces and leaves other surface natural. They are works of art.
My son was looking at them and admiring them while he ate breakfast with me this morning and he said, "Adrian, the guy who polished these, he's your friends and my friend, isn't he dad?" Yes he is.
Great work, mate.

Thanks all again! Mike, tell Lincoln I'm honored to be his friend! The truth is that a child's friendship is priceless, because it's the most sincere, coming right from the heart. Adrian
