Early Sat. morning, ralph, sheri and i went to quartzsite looking for rocks ;D sheri had never been there before and was so overwhelmed that she left her camera in the car lol I didn't bring mine so we have no pics. I must say the 3 of us had a great time, and a lot of fun. heres some pics of a fews hunks of rock ralph and i bought. Prine verde, a yellow, green color Steel blue jasper, a new find in calif. Beautiful blue, but it has a lot of factures and pits. I was disappointed, when we cut it. red tigars eye that the man baked himself. Beautiful emerald green jasper. This is almost like obsidian. ty for looking i will have somemore pics tomorrow, it got cloudy outside.

Wow those are some unusual new materials! Was the deep green jasper from Oregon. Looks like a kind I haven't seen for years called Chaparral Jasper. Really nice stuff. The blue breccia looks just like Blue Moon brecciated Jasper from the Owyhees too. Really unusual finds....Mel

Some sweet rocks there. Being a lover of all rocks green I like the Prine Verde and the emerald green jasper. That is some really great looking rock.
