Hello! I made today a cab. It's a local brecciated jasper. I spotted a mountain landscape pattern and I made the cab: Then I figured out that , turned 90 deg clockwise, the mountain becomes a man's profile: And to complete the dilemma, the back has in my opinion a landscape at least as nice as the front. But there are some soft spots here that were undercut during the grinding and polishing. So, how would you orient this cab? To show the front mountain, the back mountain or the Indian? Thanks for looking, Adrian

First of all Adrian, that is a GREAT stone! You did a wonderful job of making a cab out of it. I can't count the times I've finished a cab, looked at the back and the back looks better than the front! A lot of times what you see on the front gets ground away in making the cab. As far as orientation, that's for you to decide, my friend. Curt

I think I like it oriented with the man's profile the best. How nice to be spoiled for choice with such a nice cab!

Hey Adrian, Oooo I love this game! lol
That is a gorgeous cab.. But I see the entrance to the Sphinx on the front... ground level.. right between the two paws! awesome view.. then sideways the man I see is turned with a bare back and his head faced down.... On the back I do see that beautiful mountain scenery! which is by far one of the best ones I've seen in a while.. So.. I'm thinking the side everyone does see the same thing should get the vote.. But in the end that tough decision would still be up to you.. good luck!

Wow Roxy, what an amazing imagination you have! Now I see that man too, what a clear silouhette! He even has a baldness on his head!

I'm terrible at picturing things in rocks but I like the first orientation best.

Unless you are planning in setting it, does it matter? Both orientations look great with cabs shape.

I don't know Adrian, I'd say you have a real dilemma on your hands. Oh wait, you did say that already ... ;D I like the first one best.
