You know you might be right Sands.. my bad.. I know I was reading it somewhere I'll look for it again.. but it might be one of the many proposals I was reading with all the canidates I'll go back and try and see where I read that....

Roxy, the American wouldn't be able to hire the "wetbacks" if there were none here. The US government enables the whole scenario by not adopting a "zero tolerancy" policy, rounding them all up, and shipping them all back to where they came from. If the Mexican people knew that they wouldn't get housing, a job, welfare, a driver's license, a bank account, or any of life's necessities here, they'd have no incentive to stay or return.
BTW, several guys in town have called the INS about the concrete contractor, and nothing's been done.

John The fact is "they hire them".. I've been saying what you're saying this whole time.. They wouldn't be inclined to come over IF there wasn't anything here for them.. BUT.. who's fault is it that they get the Jobs, to Rent, To get on Welfare, To get assistance, Medical, Etc? The problem is within our very own boundaries..
That's what I've been saying all along... The Govt has it so they ARE protected in a sense.. The police weren't allowed to turn them into INS.. Nor the Hospitals, or Whatever else.. So Who's to blame? And right there should tell you something if you called INS yourselves and nothing is being done...
Why is that? There is a reason.. and it's the Govt. that knows....
Why not form a union.. or get the public involved or the local news... or bring pressure down on the contractor in a different way.. if everyone in that city would Ban together and demand "American Made" that isn't wrong... Or Insist on Qualified and Licensed or certificates of trades or whatever it is you professionals have.... I'm sure the people who hire him.. maybe they don't know about his crew.. I don't know.. I'm just saying.. I don't think it's going to work to ship them all back when the Govt. has it so the cops aren't allowed to turn them in to INS, or the Hospitals, Or whatever Govt Ran Facility there is.... and that's where the real problem is .. I think...
We spend Billions of Dollars we don't have on Defense, and waste Millions of dollars Donated to other countries when we have the need right here in our own back yards.. Immigrants aren't the Main problem is what I'm saying.. The Higher up you go.. the more money you'll see wasted.... at the tax payers expense....
But that's just what I think..

Same here.
Our contrators, and I'll say 95% of all our contractors will have maybe one mexican that can speak just enough English for the driver to understand, the rest, about 10 workers that can't or don't want to show that they can speak English.
It doesn't seem INS wants to do anything when they are alerted about a house full of 15 illegals or 10 of them working for one contractor. I know because I have called.
