An older post, but this section needs a few pics!

I rushed these so they would be done b-4 Christmas, but they came out pretty good.

Red Lavic Sliding Jasper from Mel. This is some super material, pretty hard, shines great and has some surprising patterns and colors.

4 or 5 weeks in 60/90, 2 1/2 weeks in 120/220, 1 week in tripoli and 1 week in cerium oxide. (I had to skip the 600 grit stage for time purposes)
I only wash between grit stages.
