I am trying to come up with new designs that I have not done in the past. Please leave any comments be it good or bad. I really enjoy reading what you all have to say. And the second one: Thanks for looking and your comments. gary

Holy smokes! I love that triangle one. I think I like the ones where you use the alternate material as a frame better than the other laminates but all of them are really unique.....mel

That triangle is really great. I'd like to see mitered corners or pinwheel frames. Great cabs.

Hi Gary, Very cool, no matter how you look at them. For these two, I have to go with the triangle. The first one, I don't know, too busy I think. If you were to put more of a solid color between them, that might be better but there's too much going on in it, or maybe the colors are too similar. At any rate, I find them quite amazing for what you do to make them.

Very cool. The triangle is awesome...but then I love the blue-ish border.
I always see possible quilt patterns when I look at your cabs... have you perused quilt books for possible patterns?

I was excited to see "two new cabs" from 58vette! I absolutely love the triangle. I agree with some others, that in the first one, the patterns seem to be fighting with each other for dominance!

I'll chime in in agreement with my vote for #2 - is that sodalite it looks awesome - loooooOOOOOoooove the plume, it would also look awesome with a solid dark border too - kinda vampirish *retracts fangs*
can these cabs be considered intarsia?

Yea I'll jump on the triangle bandwagon too. The shape is really nice and the colors of the stones seem to really work well together. The first one does seem a bit busy. The ones you frame always look the best to me.

I like the triangle one too. I finally wrapped one of the cabs I got from Gary, and wore it out last week. Got numerous comments! I'll get a pic this weekend and post it.
