Who IS this Rock Shed and why do they keep sending me all this stuff? 25 pounds of this colored sand stuff, 5 pounds of that, grey sand, brown sand, white sand... I live in FLORIDA for God's sake, I'm surrounded by sand!! They send black barrels that smell funny so I can't even drink a beer outta 'em and the frisbee things fly about as well as a rock! Who ARE these crazy people?? BTW, thanks for the tootsie rolls! ;D Today's tumbler tip is: Q-tipsOh... you want the reason? Use Q-tips to clean the drive belt on your tumbler*. You and do this while the motor is running without needing to be a rocket scientist OR a brain surgeon! It's an easy way to remove any built up oil residue from the bushings which can cause the belt to slip. You can even clean the groove in the drive pulley with the Q-tip while the tumbler is running. *May not work on a Lortone, I don't have one to check. Heck, it may not even be an issue on a Lortone like it is on a Thumlers. What's YOUR tumbling tip of the day? "Get a life" is NOT an option! Proper wording of "You have too much free time" is. forums.ebay.com/db1/images/emoticons/silly.gif[/img]

LOL - I really believe The Rock Shed is the tumbler's best friend. (Q-Tips are also handy when cleaning the lip of the Thumler barrel, at least those that seal like your A-R6. )

Look at all that equipment captbob has! I use laquer thinner to clean my belts, pulley and drive rollers. I also can destroy 4 lid liners a year in my 15lb er but have never lost a belt with 3 tumblers running 24/7 Steve

THe Rock Shed is a great place, you may find lower prices on individual items.....but if you want to shop one place and get personal service, and really good prices...then The Rock Shed is it.
