Hope this is okay as there is no prize involved. Once I actually start selling my wire trees I'll be able to have prize competitions. Maybe even have one of my trees as a prize -- dunno! Anyhow, I need help finding names for my tree sculptures and I hope you imaginative peoples can help. My most recent work is a 26 gauge copper wire tree with 425 labradorite leaves, and three larger tumbled labradorite stones. Ocean sand and glue mounted on a beveled mirror base: More views: Much thanks for looking, Eileen

That is a cool tree. I like the beveled mirror with a grass scene. Most of the ones I've seen are mounted on a crystal or another larger rock. I think that looks like a perfect place for a nap...so..I'd name it... "sweet dreamz" Steve

That's pretty, they look like leaves in the fall so Fall Colors. What kind of glue do you use to glue the chips on?

wow, that is NEAT! extremely well done! i'll bet it is beautiful in the sunlight! Thanks! It's gorgeous in any light, so long as it picks up the flashes. I'm actually thinking of keeping this tree since labradorite is my fav stone. As many as you like! I just want a great name for it and I have a zillion more trees that have no names WorldofGaia on eBay. They're xmini (no bigger than 4mm) and s/he sells them by the ½ pound. I make my trees around 9-12" tall and it's *really* hard to find chips that are all tiny, tiny. I put them on the tree with tweezers. Eileen

I tried making those type of trees at first and I didn't like how they look. All the ones I've seen are twisted wire, too. I wanted something that I could make realistic and found Sal Villano's web site: www.salvillano.com/The man is amazing! The trees he makes are wire wrapped, not twisted. I bought his book and started making them his way, now I make them my way Eileen
