Just out of curiosity, what is the point of naming this tree, and the other tree and the other tree and... (or any inanimate object) and how is this a competition?

Does the "winner" get naming rights and a percentage of the sale proceeds ... or at the very least, visitation rights¿

1. a) Most artwork is named in this manner and I'm a pastelist and painter by trade. It's just what we do.
b) I like names and so do most art admirers

2. I asked first and was told that this was the forum to use

3. a) Dunno what you mean by "naming rights"
b) No one gets a percentage of sales. If they did I would state thusly first off. Sell some trees for me and we'll talk percentages ;D
c) You wanna drive to NOVA and see a tree, by all means do so
