With everything kind of changed on the board I was not sure where to post these. I'm not sure they belong here because as far as I know they are not really cabs but I'm not sure where else to post them. I alos feel they are a bit sad when compared to what normally gets posted on here. Most of them have been cut on my tile saw, shaped on a normal bench grinder with 60 grit wheels then tun through 220, 600 and polish in my Lot-O. This is the whole lot of them. Cut from a little carnelian geode. This one is domed on both sides and is from a piece of agate Adrian sent to me. One of the nicest pieces of japser i have worked with. A friend of mine found it when I took him rockhounding with me. He was happy to let me have an end cut of it. A brecciated jasper More jasper Some pet woods. The green in this one is a reflection of my t-shirt. Thanks for looking. have a top day. Mike

Hey, Mike, I'm so glad to see you managed to do something with that tiny piece that I sent you. How did you manage to make the dome? Or did it build itself while tumbling? Too bad it has a crack. Sorry about that, my fault.
Don't be affraid to name these pieces "cabs", my friend! They are perfectly shaped, have very good shine on them, not speaking about the colors and patterns which are both great. And I can say that not only from the pictures, but also looking at the two beautiful cabs you sent me.

Mike, you should be very proud of these!!! They have an exceptional shine and great shape! They most certainly are cabs!
I love the colours you've got there, too. Those pet woods are so fantastic! I love that little carnelian!

Thanks for the compliments. I really enjoy doing them. I am thinking about getting some sort of drill so I can hang them from leather with a couple of beads or something.
