i tried to cab, but my fingers couldn't take the cold water, my feet (even in boots) couldn't take the cold cement floor, but i did manage to get one, very odd one, done: that line isn't a fracture, but it looks like one. thanks for looking! KD

That's beatiful, KD!!! I cab in my basement and use the absolute hottest water I can get out of the tap...even so, it doesn't stay hot for long. I'm not sure what kind of cabbing machine you have, but is your reservoir big enough to put an aquarium heater in? And you should get some of those heat packs to put in your boots to keep the tootsies toasty.

Boil a pot of water with some rocks in it. Put hot water in your reservoir along with the rocks. The rocks will stay warm longer than just the water alone.
Don't stand on concrete. put some rugs or towels down to create a barrier from the cold floor.
Space heater.
To paraphrase Admiral Farragut: Damn the cold weather, full cabbing ahead!
Awesome looking cab BTW!

It's still down in the 70s here ... wish it would hurry-up and get warm. COME ON 100 DEGREES!!!

i've tried the hot water, but never tried the hot stones.....thanks, captbob! i do have rugs down and even have a little box foot rest that i use to keep my feet above the floor level. i've tried the space heater too, but it trips the breaker sometimes (when other machinery is being used).
it's supposed to get warmer in the next few days, this below zero crap can't last much longer.

Odd? I think it's awesome. Imagine it wire wrapped. Wow. Nice work, all be it under chilly conditions. Steve

That is beautiful, mate. There is so much going on in it but it also very nicely balanced.

Beautiful cab! I can almost feel the cold looking at it. The white patterns look like freezing water.
