I've seen recent threads where this model was mentioned. Don't recall anyone loving it. BTW, snowdog swears by the big brother version with 40# hoppers.

I've got the baby brother KG1 and it works great. The only problem is it is too hard on soft rocks. The mt4 has a speed control so you can dial in a less vigorous action. I picked up a used mt10 but have not been home to try it. I broke my KG1 trying to soup it up. I noticed if I pressed down on the drum it worked more vigorously. Mine has an older style metal clasp so I bent it to put more pressure on the drum. It threw rocks out of the drum! It ran on steroids for two days then quit. This was after 4 years of use. It broke a wire off a diode. I took it to Diamond Pacific, explained what I'd done and they rebuilt it at no charge. I thought that was mighty nice of them.
