I havent had a lot of time to cab lately but there is a story behind this one. My 9 year old daughter Lillie was digging through my tumbling bucket and found this teeny little plume piece. Ive told her she can take anything she wants out of the tumbling bucket so off she ran with this little piece, I didnt even bother to look at it. About a month ago she showed it to me and I said "heyyyyy, I want that back!" She refused to give it to me and reminded me that I told her she could take anything out of the bucket. Well, again today she showed it to me and I told her I wanted it because it had the most perfect little miniature plumes. Again she refused but we haggled a bit and finally I traded her a carnelian slab and a chunk of striped orange and yellow glass for it. The entire piece was less than 1/2". Here is the resulting cab from my hard earned haggling with my daughter. Im thinking of hanging onto it until Lillie is a bit older and then turning it into a pendant for her. Thanks for lookin, Shannon

Oh Shannon...that's a real pretty one & yes...save it for when she gets older. When you DO decide to give it to her...she's gonna break into a huge ol' smile remembering how she hooked Mom!

Lillie has a great eye for patterns at her age. She deserves the pendant. You're right, wait a bit till she grows older, but not very much. My daughter Ioana cherishes and cares a lot the pendants I made for her. I only told her once not to place the pendants upside down, eitherway they will get scratched by time. And I never found any of them this way.

Ooh, that's a gorgeous little cab, and what a great story! I think it's a fantastic idea to give it back to her!

Those are some great plumes; you did a super job. A pendant down the road sounds great.

Shannon, that looks to be a perfect size for a ring too, either way, she is going to love it and it will be very special to her.
