Can anyone tell me if there is anything close (within an hours drive)/of Rosemead to look for some cutting rough I can take back on the plane with me....I have about a day to look on the companies dime.
I will be going there in a week. Appreciate any words of wisdom!!

You are kind of stuck in the middle of LA sprawl at Rosamead, if you could drive a couple of hours each way- you could probably get to some great places, (Lavic siding, Cady Mountains etc.) but within one hour I think you'll find its pretty limited.

Thanks, Rally...thats what I was afraid of...What about any decent rock selling stores??? I get to CA about twice a year...this time I have some extra time to spend...sure would like to come back with something other than paperwork  |

I'm up north near SF so I can't tell you much about shops in that area, maybe someone else might have some suggestions, sorry!
