Well I didn't get much help from Kingsley North on my vibe tumbler bowl blow out. The first response was cryptic and then nothing. I've been in the computer business for 25 years and there's nothing that roasts my behind like not responding to an email. So I sent the following email to Kingsley. It will probably deleted as soon as it is read but I feel better for venting.
>>
I have purchased over $350 from Kingsley North since 2006. I was looking to make another purchase of a new vibratory bowl and diamond wheels. Probably a $300-$400 purchase. By you not responding to my questions I sought other solutions. I found replacement vibratory tumbler bowls for $12.99 at Harbor Freight that bolt right on the Raytech TV-5 motor. Granted they aren't the quality of a Raytech bowel and won't last as long but I can buy 6 of them for the price of one TV-10 bowel.
Most people into lapidary are very handy at adapting and repairing lapidary equipment. I was interested in the TV-10 bowl to see if it could be modified to fit because I wasn't happy with the TV-5 bowl. The straight up and down sides of that prevent my cabs from tumbling and turning over. But you were unwilling to assist me with this. So I took my business elsewhere and found a solution.
I am small business owner and was hoping for some assistance from one of my preferred suppliers, Kingsley North, but your lack of response made me look around and I have found that Arrowhead Lapidary and Supply has better prices than Kingsley North. So my preferred lapidary supplier is now Arrowhead.
When you do business on the web you need to remember that you are competing in a global market. Cryptic responses or no response to customer queries only drive business elsewhere. I have read through numerous internet sources that Kingsley North customer service is leave something to be desired. I can now see that it's true. If you hope to survive in a global economy where you can't compete on price, you should make up for it with good customer service.
Sincerely,

How is it incompatible? Larger rod diameter? Longer rod? Shorter rod? It appears to be the same motor unit from the picture.
