They're comparable to the Home Depot Workforce tile saw that you hear many people on this board talk about. I know one person that uses that QEP and prefers it to the WF. I also know someone that prefers the WF to the QEP. It's really a personal preference I think. They're about the same price. I don't know how good of a diamond stock blade comes on the QEP, so you might (or might not) have to change it out a little quicker than those using the WF stock blade do. Other than that - it should work out just fine!

I tried the stock blade on the QEP, and was not impressed. If you start with $88 and then add abother $30 for a good blade, then the $88 is not so competitive any more. Remember, while well build, it is not the WF that is so great as it is the high-quality stock blade it has. Most tial saws would perform as well with that blade, or one of equal quality.

I have the same saw,and i would have to say it`s OK,not great, not junk just OK.i think i`m going to invest in a better blade than the stock when the one that`s on now get too dull to cut.........Rocky
