My 10# ST10 vibe does a great job on smaller slabs. But lately I've come across a fine location of agate in large pieces. Now I'm getting a lot of slabs in the 4 - 6" range. Needless to say I can't afford to go to a large industrial vibe. My 16" flat lap cannot keep up with my volume. Need ideas that you folks are using to vibe down slabs in this range. Looking at the larger tumble vibe but not so sure about its capability on slabs in this range.

I don't think many here do tumble larger slabs. SNowdog does, uses an Ultrasonic with large hopper.
When the slab gets twice as big, the tumbler needs to get more than twice as large. It has to have room to room to turn over and roll.
Maybe a used Ultrasonic with a 40# hoper , or maybe a UV-18, but only do medium slabs.

I routinely tumble slabs in the 4" to 6" size, but I use a 40# rotary machine. Bob
