I mean't to post these in my other thread, these are black agate set in the 4-prong sterling mounts from Cheryl (floydrocks). I liked how the black and silver looked together, so I did a few of those....  |

Nice!! How accomodating do you find those settings? Do you have much wiggle room in terms of measurements?

The cab has to fit perfect. I always make them a little bigger than needed, them slowly trim them to fit.

Ok, so if you have all that idle time you need to take individual pics.. up close.. so we can really see this stuff  Let's see that should be about 1000 photo's. So 100 a day... heck you're finished before April. Tony |

Good work Randy. I also like very much how black stones look when set in silver.  With so many cabs lately I think you must have two Chinese working in your backyard on cabbing machines. ;D But, when I think better of it - no, your cabs are much better then Chinese. You are definitely going to ruin their cabochon industry. |

...... Those prong mounts aren't as big as they look in the pic. I'm not sure where they came from, Firemountain gems has some fairly big ones.....
