Cleaned out the slab bucket tonight. Here is a group shot. The green stuff on the right I collected this past weekend on a road trip to North Idaho. There was tons of this stuff on the side of the road by Riggins, so I stopped to check it out. It really didn't seem like very good material, but I threw in a couple of chunks just to check them out. Now I wish I had thrown in a few more. A closeup of one of the slabs from Riggins Another piece from Riggins A burro creek nodule and another from the same nodule A little morisonite piece I found in the sludge in the bottom of the saw as I was fishing out one of the Riggins pieces that had fallen in the oil Thanks for looking...................Tony

Nice Tony!!! I really like that Riggins green stuff. Any ideas on what it is? Looks like it would make some really nice cabs!

The pieces I got were from where a bull dozer had pushed them off the road after a mud slide, so most of them are fairly fractured. I went down to the river and picked up a couple of pieces that have been in the water long enough to be fairly water worn, they look to be fairly fracture free, but i have not cut them up yet. It is a beautiful green, almost looks like jade, but I am not sure what it is.

That Riggins is some really nice looking rock, of course I love green rocks. Pretty morisonite too.
