Hi, I am trying a new process of double framing my cabs that I saw on this forum. It is a much longer process to do this, but I tried and here is the first one's results: I am looking forward to your responses, but remember I am an old man with a bad heart so be nice. Just kidding please give me your best response to it. The second one is some material I had and framed is as usual; Thank you for looking, gary

Gary, It's great seeing some of your amazing cabs again. That 1st one is one of the best I've seen from you. The red gives it a great color against that beautiful RSJ cab and the darker outer material. I give that a huge girl-call whistle! It took me afew minutes to figure out what material you used on both outer frames...is it Snowflake Obsidian?? Nice job Gary. Steve

love the scene in the first one - beautiful! - how are you finding the grinding is going with the softer materials up against the harder stuff?

You do a great job. The seams are so tight; it is amazing. The double boarder IMHO does not do much more than the single. They both look great.

That first one looks like a photo of a framed artwork from and art gallery. I love it.

I missed your masterpieces lately. The second one looks like two meerkats on their playground. I'd name it Meerkat Manor. I like the double frame of the first one, and also the "painting" inside. The red brings more "life" to that cab. But if there's MUCH more work to do, I'd say it doesn't worth it.
Congratulations for both of them.

Gary, you really do such a great job with these! I LOVE the first one. The red really sets off the RSJ, which has gorgeous patterns on its own. The 2nd one is great too. It really blows my socks off how close you can get those seams!

Now that right there is what we call Lapidary ART. Most of us are gonna take years to hit that plane, and I bet not many even get close! So far above the usual boring oval cab.
Thanks for the inspiration!

Unbelievable cabs. Great color matching and integration of stones. You are my hero. I just started my second multi-stone cab.
