Hello everyone!
"Way to kick off the rock hounding season here in Utah"
This weekend was the annual Timp. Gem and Rock show at the Spanish Fork Utah fairgrounds.
Since this was my first time attending one of these...I wanted to post some of the pictures of the memorable event.
I had great fund, was able to buy some very cool rocks, and to get excited about rockhounding this year here in Utah.
BTW -- The show was open to the public March 14~16th from 10~7 PM daily..
Here are some pictures:
This is the main entrance...a raffle for large pieces of petrified wood was done...too bad I did not win anything

Some of the exhibitions:
geodes galore (some as cheap as 50 cents)
more pictures (dino)
And now for some of my finds...(1 dollar for the slabs..geodes were 50 cents)
geodes (50cents each)
niece piece of wood sprayed with acrylic (5 bucks)
