Although I have not been to the show in Minneapolis...I have been to a few others by GLW...if you like beads you will like the show...it is usually 5 or 6 floors of a hotel with every room having a different vendor. There are a few people selling nice stuff...some cabs, finished jewelry, chains and maybe one or two folks with cutting rough...virtually no equipment and did I mention BEADS....The show has denegrated over the years. You may also need a vendors resale certificate to register...I don't know how strict they are about it...never had to deal with that since I have one. It is supposed to be a wholesale show....gemni

What I am most interested in is seeing some findings BEFORE I buy them. Beads don't do all that much for me.

You may be disappointed...although there maybe some findings...they are far and few between. Most dealers will want to make money to cover expenses...findings may not do it for them...so you will see finished product more often than findings...and when you do see findings it is usually by minimum lot or dollar amount buy. Question is does a trip from Rock Rapids to Minnesota justify a look see. I usually go every other year which does my wonderlust some good with the hope there will be something there I must have...I do buy something but I usually tell myself why do I keep going to see BEADS...this show falls short for me but its your call...if you do go let me know what your thoughts were.....Larry
