Good Morning/ Afternoon/ Evening. Been a lurker for while, figured I'd out myself, yes I admit it I'm a rockaholic! ;D Now I've got that out of my system, picked up a book a couple of years ago and now have a garage full of rocks and equipment, or as mark put it a right "tip". Below are some pics just ones I had handy. Leopardskin Jasper about 9lbs in weight All the way from the USA Palomino Jasper, Silver Onyx, 2 Agates Grinder 2 Grinder 1 10" saw there are other bits and bobs i'm after building a 14 inch saw have the blade and the motor and a cd full of pictures of a dismantled and reassembled Saw. Bought it in 05 very fast. Yes I did park it there that's me in the black jacket, much amusement for the neighbours. Run once now sat in my back yard rotting. My name is Simon I live in Wales, thats the bit that's attached to the front of the UK. When I first moved here I almost got arrested for sheep worrying, I inadvertently left a jar of mint sauce outside!

Not a lot goes on at the moment still extremely cold where I am. 1300 feet above sea level.
I Never realised when I started how much time I would spend working on what a lot of people think of as pebbles. I've tried tumbling, I think I was too impatient, I only have a small hobby tumbler came with some other machinery. Looking at making a larger one. That'll cope with large capacity.
I'm still learning so will always tend to read rather than write.

Welcome, Simon! The rugby team of "the bit that's attached to the front of the UK" just won the 6 nations trophy, so you're too modest I like your cabs especially the "other side" of the flint. Adrian

Welcome, Simon! I've been to Wales once, got to see the sunset over the water just as my camera ran out of film.... I was so mad!
Good to have you here. Love the Polish flint.

Thankyou all for the warm welcome.
Krazydiamond
No that's not local material, came from USA in a box with a few other pieces unnamed. Will take pics and post in the relevant section.
Adrian65
Your home made machines are amazing. Unfortunately I'm English not Welsh although part of my family is welsh, do take a lot of stick about the english. I like the other side of the polish flint as well.
Bikerrandy
I like the bike and the hot rods, harleys are very expensive over here 12000 US for an 883 sportster.
Titania
Will do more cabs as soon as it warms up a bit more it's still to cold for me, yeah I know I ride a bike.
Huffstuff
I'll take some pics locally lots of "mountains" well that's what they're classed as. Try and include a couple of sunsets.
