I haven't had much time to do cutting, but did manage to get a few slabs cut Agatized wood This is called wood rot. The wood was rotten when petrified, then agate, chalcedony, and various druze replaced the holes. Not all of the holes are completely full so it's going to be a challenge to cab it, but I think it'll be worth the trouble. Some of this wood is like geodes. If you're careful and break it just right, there are voids filled with tube agate druzy of all colors. It's just a thin coating, but there is bound to be some thicker material out there somewhere. This is the kind of stuff I live for. The more I cut and break open this stuff, the better I'll know what to look for next time. I'm about to pop to go back, but it might be May or later before I get back. Curt
