I thought i'd post just a few more pics of the area I explore out at Topaz. There are quite a few pics..so sorry for the dial-uppers! The Topaz Mountain exploring the hillside for Garnets and Topaz..not much shade! A nice little SHADY retrieve! Mines to Explore! Geode Pit And Fear Factor Games!!! We love playing Fear Factor...and yep...call us wierd or crazy!!! Can't wait for the trip...and to meet you all. Gas Prices do suck! 4WD is not necessary...so a car is another option. Steve

Steve, is that geode pit the one at Dugway, or is there one closer to Topaz Mt? I don't recognize it from that angle.

rbush, Yep...that's Dugway Geode Beds. There's a new and even better pit out there now! I can't wait to get back out. Hopefully Sunday we can make the drive and spend some time out there. Steve

Wow! You certainly do not need the chestwaders, and rain gear we take along on our local trips. If I make a trip there you will bew able to spot me easily.....I will be the guy with the big umbrella for shade. It must be really hot there in the summer. Us Washingtonians think hot is anything over 70 degrees F. Woody
