Monday I couldn't resist getting out and doing some digging. I hiked into an area that is relatively new and was fortunate to locate a nice 13 pound piece of petrified wood. When I cut it I came up with this really nicely patterned slab. If you look close at the lower right corner, you can see a rock "hound" digging for some wood in the dirt. chasfire

Woody: You didn't step on this one, however you could have. It was partially exposed.
Titania: I was thinking of polishing it as is and placing a small clock insert where the flaw is in the upper right.

Maybe they are putting some ditch weed in those cigaretts I've been buying on the indian settlement I shop at !!

A snake works for me. The nice thing about rocks is that there can be so many different views, and they all look nice. chasfire
