Here are a few of the many cabs that I bought. I don't know the names of some of them. Excuse the scan. I really need to clean the glass <img src=http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa171/beaddot/cabs/File0012.jpg> <img src=http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa171/beaddot/cabs/File0011.jpg> This one reminds me of the beach with waves crashing on the shore. <img src=http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa171/beaddot/cabs/File0010.jpg> This one looks like a peacock feather. It would have went great with my peacock purse. <img src=http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa171/beaddot/cabs/File0009.jpg> <img src=http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa171/beaddot/cabs/File0008.jpg> Thanks for looking Dot

Hey Dot You have to use img /img with brackets instead of arrows When your looking at your Photobucket album, just click the image code tab below your photo, copy it and paste here. You're done! Curt

Curt, I have a slab of the last one but it has alot of swirls in it. Hubby cleaned a yard a couple of weeks ago and there were all kinds of rocks and slabs in the ladies yard.

Dot: #3 and #4 look like some of the botswana agate I've seen. #1 is a really nice piece of Montana Moss.

Thanks Mel, Steve and chasfire. I have a whole baggie full of cabs just as pretty as these few. The one I like the best is the 3rd one which looks like a wave to me will go in a cuff.

The first two look like montana agate, third, forth a botswana agate also. The last I don't know noreena usually doesn't have the thin strips. They look great i like the shape of the second bot the best.

I'd agree with Mel on the Red Imperial for that last one (surprise!), but if you have the slab of it, that would be really helpful in further identifying it. The lots of swirlies makes me think a rhyolite/wonderstone stone instead. Did the cab come from the slab you have?

akansan, no it didn't. I bought the cab and hubby got the slab from a persons yard he was cleaning. Evidently they used the rocks from their lapidary hobby as garden rocks. I'll scan the slab with I get home tonight.
