Hello everyone! I've cabbed this morning a set (pendant, ear-rings and ring) from a couple of pictural jasper slabs. I have them from Daniel - deb. The initial project was for a pendant and ear-rings, but then I spotted the pattern for the ring in the left-overs. The ring cab has 12 x 9 mm (the base) and about 10 x 7 mm the (very flat) dome. All of them are thin, about 3 mm but behaved very good while cabbing. Daniel, thanks again for that great material. Here it is: I can't wait (and neither my wife Ina, who ordered those cabs) to turn those cabs into a set of jewels. Thanks for looking, Adrian

That's a great set Adrian. It almost looks like you could put them all together for a panorama shot.

I think that was Cripple Creek. Could be Succor Creek, but looks more like Cripple. I really need to label my rocks better.
I live a lot closer to many excellent picture jaspers now. Let me know if you want me to keep an eye out for anything in particular.

Beautiful set Adrian. As Ed suggests, you should line them all up for a cool effect. It wll be a beautiful set when it's all set. Steve

Thank you all again and thank you dan for the ID. Lining them is a good idea, it looks like a panorama like Ed said. The problem is that, into a pendant, the "landscape" would be positioned rotated.
