New to the board and new to the hobby. I live in Virginia near West Virginia. I'm about to purchase a Thumler model B but I notice there are 2 versions of this unit, a low speed and a high speed. Which is better? What should I get?
I look forward to participating here, thanks in advance.

You want the low speed. The high speed is for metal finishing. Welcome to the group.

Welcome from Virginia Beach! Thumlers make some great tumblers, where are you getting it from?

ehobby I think. I'm not actually buying it... I'm trading a guy on a cigar board some cigars to buy it for me. I'm getting the conversion kit from cabella. NA
